Ordering

Customers may place an order in several ways:

-By mailing a check or money order to: Certified Finest, P.O. Box 30374, Bethesda, MD 20824. To reserve your item it is still best to go through the checkout process online. We prefer checks on orders over $50 because they allow us to reduce payment costs and lower prices to customers overall.

-With a credit card on our website, www.certifiedfinest.com, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover.

-By phone, (301) 943-9800, Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm eastern. Please leave a callback number if necessary, as well as the best times to return the call.

Guarantee

Straightforward business practices and customer satisfaction are our primary goals. The customer may return any item which is not satisfactory for any reason including grading, excluding only a sudden drop in market value. Returns must be postmarked within 10 days of delivery for a full refund less shipping and handling.

Returns must include the exact items sent with no tampering, damage or change in condition. As a precondition for this guarantee, coins shipped in sealed or stapled flips or holders must be returned intact in the same sealed or stapled holders, unopened and as shipped. Certified Finest Galleries routinely photographs outgoing orders for security.

All items are guaranteed authentic, with no unmentioned alterations to key identifying characteristics such as date, mintmark or variety diagnostics. If an item is determined unauthentic or altered in this way by a mutually-agreed expert with 180 days of purchase, then Certified Finest Galleries will accept a return of the item. Authentication will be provided by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation, Professional Coin Grading Service or ANACS for coins and tokens. It will be provided by Paper Money Guaranty Corporation or PCGS Currency for paper money, bills and notes. Authentication costs will be borne by the customer.

Investing in coins carries risk, and Certified Finest Galleries advises caution. We do not guarantee investment performance, future price, merchantability or aspects of quality not mentioned in the preceding paragraph after ten days.

Payment and Shipping

All prices shown on www.certifiedfinest.com are quoted in United States Dollars. Certified Finest Galleries will add charges for shipping and handling and sales tax if applicable to all orders. Presently, a 5% sales tax applies only for shipments within the State of Maryland to orders under $1000. Customers in other countries also must pay any customs, duties or other fees and taxes associated with the order.

Orders will be shipped either through the United States Postal Service or Federal Express. All shipments will include tracking information for safety. For security reasons Certified Finest Galleries does not ship to mailstops or rented private mailboxes. The customer is responsible for any loss or damage after the package leaves the care of USPS or Federal Express.

The coin & collectibles market is dynamic, with some prices changing on a week-to-week basis. Certified Finest Galleries reserves the right, without prior notice, to change prices on coins and related products offered on the website without the company incurring any obligation to you. However, in the event of a price increase, we will contact the customer for further authorization before processing the order. Some orders may be delayed 5-10 days for security reasons and payment verification. To increase your selection, Certified Finest Galleries offers some items through special order. Lead times for these products can be found online.

The receipt by you of an order confirmation via email does not constitute Certified Finest Galleries acceptance of an order. Prior to Certified Finest Galleries’ acceptance of an order, verification of information may be required. Certified Finest Galleries reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order, or any portion of it, for any reason even after you receive an order confirmation from Certified Finest Galleries. Certified Finest Galleries reserves the right to limit the order quantity on any item and to refuse service to any customer without prior notification.

All transactions are deemed to take place in the State of Maryland, United States. All disputed matters shall be subject, exclusively, to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts of the State of Maryland, and governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
